Three follow-up moves do most of the lifting. Learn them by name.
Tighten. Cut, sharpen, reformat: "halve it", "as a table", "lead with the numbers". Redirect. Change the angle: "less salesy", "write it for a sceptical finance director". Interrogate. Make it show its working: "what did you assume?", "argue against your own recommendation". Ten seconds each. Prove you can tell them apart.
